I grabbed this to read on vacation and it ended up being one of my top books this year! A moving story about family, love, and sisters that had me in tears by the end.

Napolitano’s writing is gorgeous and sucks you right in. The characters are very real, in that you love them, hate them, feel for them, are yelling for them to do something different–they really feel like family!

If you can go into this one without knowing what it’s based on/inspired by, all the better. Personally, I knew, and I still really enjoyed the book, but I think I could have enjoyed the journey more if I didn’t know how it was going to end!
