Nottingham will be enjoyed by anyone who likes complex casts of characters and complex plots that treat the reader as intelligent–the comparison to Game of Thrones on the cover of my version is fairly earned.
I received an advanced reading copy of this book, lost it, then found it again recently — a confluence, one might say, with the events of the book itself.
Those looking for a character study or for chapters of fleshing out relationships will want to look elsewhere, but for those who want to be moved by the feeling of connection and the most human kind of depersonalization will love this book.
